Rain, Rain ...

It's raining today. Rain comes down in sheets here - no sprinkling! Without grass you can really see how much water there is in the backyard. Mud lasts for weeks too :) In Utah it was so dry that within a day of sunshine the mud would be dry enough to walk on -- not here! I think I see lots of mud pies in my future ...

Oh, no! Well, at least with the growth of your grass, it will get better.

the mud reminds me of Louisiana . . .

I love your music!!!!! Can you e-mail your playlist to me or something? Or better yet, how about making a CD of your playlist!

in the top picture, it looks like the downspout "catcher" is backwards - pushing the water back towards the foundation instead of away from the foundation . . .

Yep - I study these pictures!

You noticed?!?! Yeah - we did too :) We actually talked to Pulte's guy that follows up with everything in the house after the sale - can't remember his official title, but he can answer just about any question if it has anything to do with a Pulte home. Anyway, he said because we have a sump pump, it's ok to do that -- the backyard was hydro-seeded and they turned them around on purpose to keep the water from the downspout from washing away the seed. It just drains into the system set up with the sump pump to keep the basement dry. Good eye, Dad!
