St. Patrick's Day usually is pretty uneventful in our family, but this year Master S decided to make a trap for any Leprechauns that might happen our way - apparently he has a friend at school that does this every year and he just had to check it out. So, he colored a box to look like a rainbow, propped it up in the hallway so he could see it from his bed, and what do you know .... well, there were no Leprechauns in the morning under the box, but there were some intensely green cookies with icing and a green paper trail to the toilet ... where the water had turned green too! So, I made some green pancakes for breakfast and enjoyed a great day in the green out of doors ... well, maybe not green yet, but certainly promising weather in order for green to appear. The kids loved the neighborhood park - Big D LOVES the swings. He just went crazy in them this year, which made Miss Lilly happy because she loves them too.
